If you collect Chicago memorabilia, this vintage Chicago Electric Tru Test 8-inch Non-Oscillating Fan Vintage Circa 1933 is a must-have.

The original induction motor fan "Tru Test" 4 blade desk fan by CEMCO, Chicago Electric Manufacturing Company, features a self-starting induction motor licensed to CEMCO by the inventor B.B. Benson.

Cord dried, rotten and without plug. Needs to be replaced. Untested but see no reason why this wouldn't work. Spins freely by hand but will probably need oil. Non-oscillating. 8" Diameter.

Patent No. 1,917,289 filed December 17, 1931, USPTO an patented July 11, 1933, by B.A. Benson Inventor of the Self-Starting Induction Motor. Assigned to Chicago Electric Manufacturing Company (CEM CO).
